THE STORY OF PSYCHÉ AND EROS
The myth tells of a woman named Psyché, whose outward beauty was so perfect that people bowed before her image. Yet behind that facade, Psyché was utterly alone. Everyone saw what was on the surface, but no one knew her true nature.

Even the goddess Aphrodite herself felt threatened by her beauty and sent her son Eros with a task meant to doom her. Instead, he fell in love with her.
When Psyché discovers love, it comes with one condition. She is forbidden from seeing the face of the one beside her. She may love him only in darkness. She is forbidden from knowing who truly stands at her side.
She must be satisfied with the unknown, with illusion, and with what she has been told to believe.

This is a state more familiar than we care to admit.
We often choose to live in that darkness - in the roles we have constructed, in the image we maintain, without truly knowing what lies in the depths - neither in others, nor in ourselves. Because darkness asks no questions - and feels safer.
But Psyché breaks that rule. At a certain moment she chooses to light the lamp and look.

And that is when everything begins.
The light ends the illusion and sends her on a long path of trials.

At the end of that path Psyché is transformed - found and awakened by the kiss of Eros himself. But love is no longer blind, no longer hidden in the dark. It stands in the light. The kiss is the reward for the journey walked - the true awakening to a new life, one that brings her immortality.
With Psyché's choice to light the lamp, true understanding begins. Metaphorically, this is the moment we decide to look inward and see more clearly the patterns and mechanisms that shape our lives.
This is the metaphor behind the name Psyché Test. The tool does not promise a ready-made transformation, because that is a personal choice. Psyché Test gives you clarity and understanding of your inner world - something you can use with intention.
